It's been quiet and peaceful around here of late. The neighbors have settled down a bit, There are no dogs over there presently and They are keeping their thoughts to themselves. As far as when that woman goes to jail I'm still not sure. Now it seems that she has appealed and it could be a year or two before we have to deal with that all over again. I did get a call from the animal shelter asking me if I had a picture of the "dead dog" or if I could positively identify it. After an hour of searching old photographs on CDs I found not one picture of the mutt and I don't think I could identify it. Presumably the animal police have found this dog at a relative of Nick Kennedy's but proving it may not happen. Oh well. I forgot to ask the animal control officer if anybody has been charged with dog abuse after poor Tracker was found in almost starved-to-death condition. I'll look into that soon.
No more car break-ins. I guess since Sarah and I followed that fellow down the street (did I blog that?) they decided to check out a different neighborhood. Smart move.
Now the good stuff. At the end of August my son-in-law, Ricky, took leave and came home for a couple of weeks. It was good to see him. While he was here we had Parker, Warren calls him Baby Pucker, it's so cute, baptised and celebrated Warren's third birthday too.
