Thursday, January 28th I was talked into signing up and weighing in for the Scale Back Alabama challenge. Laura had a team of four, I was going to enter as an individual. Turns out individuals couldn't enter, only teams of four. I hooked up with another teamless couple and Laura called her cousin to make a fourth.
The first week I lost nothing, N-O-T-H-I-N-G, nothing. I tried so hard! Laura and I walked every day it was not raining and ate everything right but no results. So I decided to buy a pill.
I chose Quick Trim Burn and Cleanse. A box with two bottles in it. One Iso-Burn, the other Iso-Cleanse. The instructions said to take two doses of each at particular times of the day. Burn fat by day and cleanse by night the box boasted.
About six hours after the third dose I started becoming CLEANSEd. I crapped my insides out for an hour and a half or so and when I was done my FAT a$$ was BURNing.
So, I guess it worked? Though I expected the burn part to work a little differently. I did lose a couple of pounds over night.
Good luck to all you Alabamians scaling back!

The Reception (Wedding Part IV)
And the reception . . .
Cindy, my friend for 30 years and five months and counting. you just don't find friends like these every day.
This was a neat idea. Instead of a guest book, Laura found this picture frame at Bed Bath and Beyond for everybody to sign. It will get much more attention in the future than a traditional guest book. Did I mention there was nothing traditional about Laura?

The Ceremony (Wedding Part III)
There we are lined up. Finally time to march up the path, and it was a steep path in high heals!

It's not always easy growing up with two dads but they are nice for helping you up the side of a mountain in a long dress.

One can't resist a handsome little ring bearer who makes faces all through the ceremony. Oh, and one that prefers to stand with the pretty smelling girls.

Final Preparations (Wedding part II)
Here they are, almost ready for the big moment.

Papa comes to visit
Now there were lady bugs all over the carriage house where the girls dressed. We were told though not intentionally placed there, the ladybugs signified good luck so were not to be looked upon as pests. But is it good luck for the little ring bearer to roll around in gravel while dressed in his black tuxedo before the ceremony? I don't know.
